Each discussion group will be led by two experienced self psychologists who will encourage discussion in response to the first panel which will discuss attachment theory and self psychology. The aim of the panel is to demonstrate the relationship between attachment theory and self psychology and the post-panel discussion group will allow the participants to interact with experienced self psychologists to further their understanding of this area. The participants should gain further understanding of the relationship between attachment theory and self psychology and its application to clinical work.
