POST-PANEL DISCUSSION GROUP FOR PANEL #2

This group is designed to allow small groups to discuss the material presented in panel #2 with two experienced self psychologists. Panel #2 has to do with trauma and dissociation and will have a paper presented and two clinical illustrations. The post-panel discussion group will allow the participants to ask questions and to clarify their understanding of the material and to make comments about their thoughts regarding the panel. The participants will learn the way in which self psychology views early trauma and dissociation as seen in the clinical situation. The participants should be able to expand their clinical skills in dealing with such patients as well as develop further understanding of these patients.
