In this panel there will be a case presentation by an experienced self psychologist and then a discussion by three senior self psychologists who will offer different perspectives on the clinical material. There will be perspectives on a developmental and motivational systems point of view, optimal responsiveness point of view and further ideas on the development of basic or traditional self psychology. The course is designed to demonstrate different perspectives that have developed in self psychology and how they are applied to clinical material.
