The 26th Annual International Conference on The Psychology of The Self will
be held in Chicago Illinois at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Hotel,
Thursday, November 6 through Sunday, November 9, 2003. The title of the
2003 conference is Creating New Therapeutic Possibilities.
The International Council invites all interested
professionals to submit papers for consideration in the Workshops and Original
Paper Sessions at this meeting. These workshops and paper sessions are
scheduled for one and one-half hours, which will include the actual
presentation and a discussion by a Faculty member and the audience. The first
draft paper may be up to 18 pages, double-spaced, type to be no smaller than
12 point with 1 1/4 inch margins all around. If accepted, we will ask that the
final presentation be limited to 30 minutes. A brief summary (1-2 pages) of
the paper along with an original first draft and 4 copies should
be submitted, along with (original plus 4 copies), by Monday, February
3, 2003.
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to the
accreditation application requirements, the following materials must be
submitted with your paper (items 1 & 2 should be on the same page and must
be typed:).
1. A one paragraph abstract of your presentation,
2. One Educational Objective for your presentation:
At the conclusion of my presentation, the participant
will be able to:............
3. Brief Curriculum Vitae (no more than 2 pages).
We regret that papers submitted without all
of the above items cannot be considered for review. Papers and
workshops must be relevant to self psychology. All submitted papers will be
reviewed by the Program Committee. Authors will be notified of the decision of
the Committee by mid-April 2002. Paper and workshop sessions are limited by
space availability.
